Soren first ventured into the restaurant world as a founder director and backer of Atlantic Bar & Grill in 1994 and then Coast in 1995 before opening 1 Lombard Street in 1998.
Before that, he spent 10 years with Goldman Sachs, UBS and Merrill Lynch, so he knows the City well and loves the buzz. He is passionate about the countryside and enjoys stalking and fishing whenever he gets the chance. Getting close to the source is very important to him.
Soren's other restaurants have included Noble Rot and Papillon, and he recently opened Ilia, an Italian restaurant in South Kensington, which has enjoyed rave reviews.
