1 Lombard Street, is the Brainchild
of ex-
banker and proprietor Soren Jessen, it was opened in 1998 and
has now become a city institution. Executive Chef and General
Manager Herbert Berger was initially poached by Soren and has
since established with Head Chef Tim Richardson a remarkable
venue. 1 Lombard Street is a former banking hall, with a Grade
II listed neo classical interior, the 20-foot ceiling and domed
skylights by Pietro Agostini makes it one of the most stunning
settings in London. |
